The centrally located
clubhouse comprises of a room for umpires / refs and first aid
room, two sets of ablutions (male and female) one for visiting
teams the other for home team use. A secure storeroom serving
the clubhouse functions lies behind a serving bar counter.
An accessible lawned roof provides views of all the three surrounding
sports fields. Concrete, glass and tiled surfaces give a maintenance
free structure.
The architecture
echoes the new University of Johannesburg gate houses and theatre
designed by MRA, giving a consistent identity for the campus.
